Namaste, Dear Seekers of The Truth.
I would like to offer you a few pages, from a personal perspective, of my own experiences in one of many contemporary huge ‘spiritual’ organizations, one of a vast, multi-specialty, multinational ‘charity’ – a ‘spiritual’ business empire. For obvious reasons actual names of characters have been changed to names of Birds. It may be confusing as I am using a name together with a character function. It does not matter as readers should rather try to understand the hidden teachings in the described events and ignore the characters which in most cases are symbolic. Please forgive me for venting sarcasm here and there. Anger and frustration mounted steadily because the contrast between my inherited from my family code of ethics and the ‘reality’ I faced there was overwhelming. I still cannot fully understand the motives of the leader called in my story White Eagle - Guru Bird, as there are many contradictions, which cannot be logically combined, like fire and water. It is possible that He arranged this grand theatrical performance for a very few who had to be given an opportunity to make, in real life, ultimate choices in situations where all the odds were against them. I also doubt this, but I must say simply that I do not know so I prefer not to judge. Still, I value very much what I learned and have no regret that I invested my money, time and energy in this exercise. Yes, this was an excellent exercise and an opportunity to test myself. I do not claim to know the truth, do not claim to have all the answers but I also do not like to base my life on blind beliefs just because they are commonly accepted as valid. I like to dig into the facts, find answers but I am, besides this, aware that my interpretations of facts are tainted by the filters of my mind which store memories of the past and often attach readymade ‘labels’ to new situations. Instead of answering my questions I am, rather, accumulating more and more questions which I would like to be answered by someone who knows. This would be beneficial, but more for others than myself as this period of my life is now a ‘closed book’ for me and I do not dwell on it. So let it be clear: I have no agenda of my own, do not want to prove anything, do not want to take revenge on those who opposed me or who were not ‘walking their ‘spiritual’ talks’ only pretending. I just want to share my, often hurt, feelings and often amazing, perhaps occasionally inaccurate, observations. I still love this Guru Bird and many other birds with whom I interacted, often being on opposite sides of the ‘playground’ as we all are close relatives in Totality of Existence bound together perhaps for many incarnations. However, I completely disagree with many of White Eagle's ways of conduct, with His hypocrisy and His using lies to control Colony members. I am disappointed also with the spiritual progress of a few of His Condors whom I was supposed to imitate but whom I found having personal issues and who attempted to mislead and manipulate me. The slogan, ‘See no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil.’ is not applicable in all life situations. How can it be good for our own morality and spiritual growth, to keep quiet in the face of plain lies, false claims and evident manipulations; and at the same time enable others to hold on to faith in a false guru or politician? So many things which a guru’s followers repeat like parrots, eg the miracles [which no one witnessed], the purity of the guru, are nothing but fairy tales and myths. So many empty promises by politicians are never mentioned by their fans. So many uplifting spiritual possibilities were told to disciples, when the teacher was not experiencing them himself. It is not honest to keep quiet when a situation is muddy. That is why Albert Einstein said: "The world is a dangerous place to live not because of the people who are evil but because of the people who don't do anything about it." Birds and people never voluntarily give up their freedom and liberties, except under some delusion, for example, in the case of a guru’s promise of liberation or birds' government's security. This is commonly happening in all birds and human cults and countries. Sometimes fear of a perceived, outrageous and ugly truth takes on the form of obsessive neurotics, giving up all dignity, renouncing all common sense, denying the obvious, setting taboos and system of the keepers of taboos, and the phenomenon of shutting up for years the ability of discriminating between valid evidence and myths and, by so doing, cultivates self-denial in full swing. The truth is not that which anyone, even a person claiming to be an incarnation of God, no matter if he or she is in spiritual organization or in government, what might say it is. To find the truth a seeker of the Truth must collect all evidence from all available sources; to look at the evidence from all angles; to find a way leading to lesser known evidence or hidden evidence and only after, without taking as valid the statements of others, dive inside of his being where truth is, always was and can be found when needed. This book is dedicated to all who, one day, will understand what I say. But let us make it clear: There is none more evil or immoral a deception than that which is perpetuated under the shield of acted love, and on the basis of fake spirituality in the name of compassion. This story is also a warning for hot-headed human and birds. Please assess if You are ready for a similar challenge, ready to cross the boundary of Your safety zone and enter the Unknown, to have a ‘litmus test’ of integrity in what I often call ‘pure paranoia of controlled madness’. Those who join such cults and dedicate their money, time and energy must be aware that after a few years they may see a different picture than at the very beginning when the desire to participate, to be part of something imagined to be great blinded reason and prevented the use of discrimination. Also, backing down is not always easy as most are programmed to depend on organization and Guru, and often energetically deteriorate to the point that breaking from the cult is almost out of the question. Each person/bird has a right to make choices but none is free of the consequences. If the cult is based on false foundations people/birds sooner or later ‘wake up’. For the ‘more intelligent’ this process of realizing what is really going on can take in some cases twenty plus years of swimming in paranoia of madness, internal conflict and condemnation of obvious facts as time does not heal inborn qualities. Also often in such ‘colonies’ there is a lot of competition, pushing around and even hostilities. Decent people/Flying Birds should never get into a wrestling contest with those who are corrupted/Piggy Birds because there is mud and only the real pigs like it. Dear Brother and Sister humans, Birds and snakes both legless and two legged be careful, be very careful, check the depth of the ‘pond’ before You Ducks and all others jump into its waters to have a ‘spiritual’ dip because it isn’t just a black and white issue. So, good luck ‘birds’’ co-travelers. I salute you all with both of my wings.

These stories are dedicated to You Dear Reader, You who are an individualized projection of All-What-Exists, You, who are predestined, by making, before incarnating on Earth, the conscious choice, to have an opportunity to read them. If this statement is at present for You too enigmatic I guarantee that later its meaning will become clearly understandable. I'd like also to add here that these stories are also, maybe even especialy, dedicated to those who will not have a chance to read them because they live in a suppression of freedom and often are not even aware that they are Free projections of All-What-Exists. Siddhas of Arunachala have assured me that those last mentioned will not be ignored but accessed and spiritualy elevated in a more subtle way.
Those of You who will read my stories, as Beings of Free Will, can take them or reject them. People are usually more comfortable with their old beliefs and concepts, and have an instinctive fear of anything new or unknown. Some of the following stories are on the brink of controversy but are not controversial. My intention is to steer old beliefs and alert Readers to understanding that you, by being strong and fearless have nothing to lose but everything to gain; Freedom, Wisdom and Love. That is why this collection of stories contains many challenging and radical ideas. When reading this we must also be aware that the discussed theories, opinions, beliefs and experiences are not only possible interpretations of discussed topics, facts and evidence. The Truth ‘has many faces’. Many will not even want to know what I say and will choose to put their heads in the sand like an Australian ostrich does when sensing approaching danger. F. Nietzsche said not without a reason: ‘People don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.’ But it is sometimes necessary when intending to progress, to be able see Truth, to destroy what is outdated or false.
I encourage You, the Reader, not to avoid confrontation with presented ideas, information and their interpretation but to examine them and come to your own conclusions and judgments. I also like to warn you Dear Reader. In these stories you may find scattered pieces of Truth which You may assemble like a puzzle with the help of meditation into the full picture. The Truth is easy to understand once It is tracked down and uncovered. Truth is unbelievably simple! The point is to discover It! For success in this task, attention and intelligence is needed. So this text is not for entertainment. To understand Truth is without the slightest doubt a very liberating experience, albeit a very dangerous one. The Truth is a most lethal weapon against the Dark Forces known to all sentient beings living in the vastness of the Universe. Truth is capable of destroying false beliefs established through thousands of years of indoctrination. It can turn upside down cultures based on false foundations, reset morals, ethics and paradigms. It was and is considered illegal by most rulers either ‘elected’ or those who inherited their royal status. As we can see throughout human history that knowers and preachers of Truth were and are always punished by death - usually by the cruelest methods available. I, as the author of the following text, hope that this warning will not frighten off the Readers but rather ignite a curiosity in them prompting them to dive ‘head down’ into these stories. I wish all the readers to be brave and dare to learn something from this intellectual and spiritual adventure. Each time a person broadens his understanding he is sending an indestructible wave of energy to the Universe. Those tiny waves assemble into a mighty ‘tsunami’ of awareness which in time will destroy the dominant powers of oppression, annihilate illusion and expose deceit, liberating humanity. But You Dear Reader, are advised not to continue reading if you find it too uncomfortable, or too conflicting with your present belief system which You have chosen as valid, or are not ready to evaluate at this stage of your life. If you choose to read this book to the last page, please do so with an open mind, contemplating the depth of those messages which are hidden between the lines and seek the energy encoded in the key words.
Aleister Crowley said: ‘The essence of independence has been to think and act according to standards from within, not without.’ So don’t believe me. Don’t believe anyone. Do not believe it is a conspiracy theory. Too many coincidences are usually not coincidental. Investigate everything and draw your own conclusions. Do not try to adopt any of my concepts, as they are not universal but reflections of my, and my only, inner state, my visions and opinions. I want rather that You, as a Being of Free Will, to start to think independently, throwing away pre-programmed common beliefs and discover the Truth at Your pace and on Your own, The Truth that is valid for You and live It from that moment on! Believe, please, that You can find It and believe that You can make a difference! You can! Nikola Tesla Said: ‘….the forces are in perfect balance and hence the energy of a simple thought may determine the motion of a universe…’ Only those who are ‘crazy’ enough to believe in their own power to change the World are those who actually change the World. That is why Margaret Mead said: ‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has...’ If our world we are living in ever changes for the better it must start with us changing our way of thinking, from re-evaluating our present beliefs and our conscious choices made on this basis.
I, as the author of these stories, was firmly assured by the Siddhas of Arunachala that they are committed to raise the curtain on illusion – Maha Maya, which has obscured humanity's understanding for millennia. They want to reveal, in these turbulent times more than ever before, the liberating beauty of the Truth and They invite Readers to undertake a journey of investigation into Its mysteries, a journey into the strange and wondrous world of Love manifested as Truth.

I downloaded this book for free using Author House Bookstub promo code which was given me by a friend who just comes back from India and who personally knows the author. First I was skeptical finding that he was born in not English speaking country. But after reading few stories tears started to flow from my eyes. In some was incredible love, love towards his son, towards life, towards people and all Creation. This is a book I would recommend to anyone who seeks advice and spiritual guidance or who need moral support and up liftmen because have some problems. It provides guidance and helps to look at things and events in life in a different, more insightful, more positive way even if at given moment it is difficult. I enjoyed reading it so much and must say that learned a lot. It is obvious that the Author, Andrew Bukraba a.k.a. Traveler, acquired on his journey through life a lot of wisdom and insightfulness which he is now ready to share with people. This book is a gift for people molded by education, mass-media and clergy. It opens eyes. It uplifts all readers telling them that despite of hard and tuff experiences they have right to hope and to life in dignity. It tells us that we are eternal, magnificent spiritual beings of light and The Universe which we observe is nothing but reflection of our inner state. The Author encourages people to continue on individual journeys towards the light - each own unique way and not to fall into the trap of accepting commonly believed version of our reality. Anyone who authentically seeks excellence over mediocrity, truth over deceptiveness of propaganda, truth sense of our existence over worthlessness and pledge of hope over hopelessness in passivity should read this book. Australian author Andrew Mirosław Bukaba a.k.a. Traveler a.k.a. Raskal a.k.a. Woodpecker - was born in 1944 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Andrew graduated in Poland with a Masters Degree in Soil Science. After his studies he worked at the University, Polish Academy of Science, and later for the government both Provincial and Central. He worked and lived in eight countries - hot and cold, and visited, on his search for the Truth, many more. He is an experienced rock climber and mountaineer. He is also a high mountains skier and martial arts fan; a life-long hobby that has served him very well, when needed, in a few difficult situations. He immigrated to Sweden escaping the clutches of Communism, then moved to England and later got permission to settle in Australia. Throughout his entire life he has been a free and uncompromising seeker of the Truth, and he still is. He is a writer of short stories and poems. He spent a few years in an Indian Hindu ashram, than a few years in South India but driven by the memories of the past went back to Poland and Russia but now again is thinking where to go next.

This is the sort of book that can change a person's life - that should be stated immediately, before any other praise is lavished or recommendations are made. It is not without a bit of hesitation that I approach any book that has such powerful themes that are not only abstract and quicksilver to grasp, but also against the grain of so many other accepted and traditional ways of looking at the world. The Traveler is the ideal guide for this journey into the depths of truth and human experience, and his eyes are the perfect windows to finally see what is so often hidden from view - the possibility of life outside the mainstream, an existence that refuses to bow to any notions of right and wrong, success or failure...this spiritual perspective is one that I have recently been exposed to through my own spiritual journey into the desert of Burning Man, and so many moments within these stories rang out in my mind as reminiscent of a snippet of conversation or an hours-long impassioned discussion between strangers in the dark. Bukraba seeks out a deeper truth about existence than most people are willing to go, and by not only accessing it, but framing it in these 40 or 50 stories, he makes it possible for those without access to spiritual enlightenment to enjoy and benefit.
There are so many places in the world where these sorts of ideas are seen as heretical, mad, or simply wrong, and yet they are so difficult to transmit in words and phrases; language often seems a paltry excuse for the passion of speech and experience. Somehow, the Traveler (and the author, obviously) are able to tap into that deep, permanent, and undeniable well of beauty, truth, and existential wonderment to pour out these stories before us. This was one of the most beautifully written and powerful books on spirituality and the power of the human spirit that I have ever read. I'm still moved by it - and will surely be drawn back to these pages many times in the future. Phenomenal.

This book was recommended to me by my son, who has often argued with me about spirituality, religion, faith, etc. and wanted me to take a new approach to my own understanding of all that "higher power" stuff. I've never been one to consider myself an "alternative" thinker, but I am certainly open to new things; static and stagnant in my thinking I am not. This book by Mr. Bukraba was certainly an eye-opening experience, perhaps because he writes with such conviction, and offers up some common sense ideas about how we should behave and how we should think, but not in a controlling or condescending way. The author offered ideas or alternatives to the paths most commonly tread, without any strings attached or rules to follow. This was a philosophy of letting go of convention, or recognizing your union with the rest of the universe - it put things in perspective and also urged people to let go of their narrow perspective at the same time. I don't quite understand everything I read, nor do I know if I agree/believe in everything that was shared, but this was certainly a great book to broaden your mind a bit and get a much-needed reminder that life is more than commuting, standing, sitting, kneeling, driving, eating, and sleeping. There is a gift in our existence, and it is our duty to seek it out and share it with the world. I'm glad my son recommended this one to me, and I'm sure that these ideas will continue to stimulate my curiosity and my sense of wonder. An interesting book, to say the least.

A Journey Toward The Light by Andrew Miroslaw Bukraba is a book of 50 short stories that are inspired by his travelling and his interactions with the inspirational people that he met along the way. Andrew Miroslaw Bukraba is a well educated man with a wide variety of experiences including time spent in the Polish Army, training with both rifles and as a mountain climber and high mountain skier. He has lived in 8 different countries including Sweden where he went to in order to escape communism. In A Journey Toward The Light Bukraba is known as the traveler whom the book refers often to. Each of the short stories center around the idea of finding freedom and truth as well as the fact that we are all members of the human race.
Andrew spent some of his time in India at a Hindu ashram. You can see the influence of this time in each of the stories as they reference a Guru and a life force that we all engage with. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the stories made me think about how we are all interconnected. While I do not necessarily believe in reincarnation, I also do not dismiss the possibility of it existing so the references to it throughout the book provided me with some very interesting things to think about.

If you are the type of reader who enjoys a good soul searching read and/or stories that make you think then you are likely to enjoy A Journey Toward the Light by Andrew Miroslaw Bukraba.
Andrew Miroslaw Bukraba was born in the early 1940’s in Lithuania. He earned his Masters Degree in Soil Science in Poland. He has worked and lived in 8 different countries and he has many skills ranging from being an Olympic level marksman to being an experienced Rock Climber. He is known by many names including the Traveler. In A Journey Toward the Light Andrew shares 50 short stories which are inspired by the people that he has met throughout his life. Each short story focuses on the fact that we are all members of the human race in search of the truth and of freedom.
Andrews’s experiences can be clearly seen throughout the stories, especially the time that he spent at an Indian Hindu ashram. Each story revolves around a person and their relationship with a Guru, each other, and/or their search for truth and true freedom. I enjoyed the fact that each short story really showed how we are all connected to each other as well as to the past and the future.

... First they came for the whistle-blowers whose crimes were telling the truth ...but you were watching NFL Super Bowl and did not care because you were not a whistle-blower and the game was sssssooooo…….. fascinating.
…then they came to disarm you and you obediently surrendered your guns because you were not intending to kill anyone and you firmly believed what they told you that this way you were much safer because they are protecting you well. You disliked history so there were no second thoughts as you did not know how the confiscation of guns resulted in Hitler’s Germany - Third Reich, Stalin’s Soviet Union and Mao’s China.
…then they remotely crashed on a palm tree investigative journalist who dared to come close to their dark secrets and you felt safe despite also driving the same model of Mercedes, because there was in you not even a tiny desire to investigate the truth beyond the programmed reality you were living in. …later they targeted writers who pointed out their mischief and some had to seek asylum in Switzerland …but you trusted your educators, politicians, TV and daily papers which were all saying that writers are dangerous conspiracy theorists and you again did not care because you were not a writer, not even a reader of their books trying to come to the personal conclusions of known but misinterpreted facts.
…then, the thugs, unable to read three digit numbers, mistook your house for a next door dwelling of a competitive freelance drug dealer and in the darkness of night broke your front door. A SWAT team, after tasering you, your wife and nine year old child, who looked very suspicious ‘camouflaged’ in Super Man pyjamas, set a Combat Dog on your grandmother who was sleeping soundly. When she suddenly woke up and disobeyed their command to rise due to her sore arthritic hands, the dog jumped on the bed and mutilated her face. You now had no gun to defend your family from the lawless intrusion, but being well programmed, did not even have any intention to protect as you still believed that law enforcement was acting in your family's best interest. You never read what the Irish dramatist George Farquhar (1677 – 1707) said: ‘Those who know the least obey the best.’
…then they sent to FEMA camps (for protection only) those who, under ‘bad’ influence of investigative journalists and some writers, started to think independently and you did not care because you were sure that it was you whom the government was protecting.
…then they came for you because….the rulers from your government did not need stupid people and you were very stupidly self-centered and irresponsibly trusting. You perhaps never heard what was said before by the famous physicist, Albert Einstein: ‘A foolish faith in authority is the worst enemy of The Truth.’
So you had better please remember, before is too late.
